My Promise card to Godhead!

“Oh, great were the celebrations of Christmas as the church sings the silent night with all around the twinkling lights and Santa comes running and jumping with the songs of joy, isn’t it a beautiful sight. Oh, the baked cookies and cakes, the sweets shared. Oh, great was the celebration.”
Now, the time have come, time most awaited to pick a promise card right at the sound of the clock ticking 12.00am during the watch night service. Here is a question that flashed through my mind and made me to ponder up for a while; what God has done for us the everyday of our passing years and especially how God enabled to sustain through the hardest times and plunge the smoothest times and how He made us to smile? Yes! Wow Hallelujah will be the answer, isn’t it? Hope you enjoyed your journey through your passing years seeing God working in your lives.
But my question still remains, Does God enjoy me/us? How many times does God felt happy when he thinks of his Children in Christ (John1:12)? The reason behind God’s greatest creation; human being, is to have a relationship with them. Our God is a relational God, which made him to leave the riches in Heaven and come down to earth in search of the wretched like me. Despite, all this what he has done we just treat him like an ATM card. We expect him to bless us with all happiness. Not thinking of whether we please God; does I make God smile. Mostly we enjoy God and his gifts but rarely we take to thank for the most precious gift that God gave us freely, is purchased by God at the cost of his only begotten son’s life. “He was crucified laid behind the stone, lived to die rejected all alone like a rose trample on the ground, he took the fall and thought of me…. Above all.”
How would your birthday be without any gift not even a single birthday wishes, no body posting your photo on their what’s app status. Especially when you give a grand treat or a party; everybody just eats, wash hands and go, how will we feel! This is what exactly He might be feeling. This is how we are treating God when we enjoy Him throughout the year and just eat Christmas cake and return back to work till December comes again. Is it what we are busy in doing, and is this why God made created us and saved us for? Ecc12:13.
Almost everybody of us take new year resolutions in the beginning of the year but do we stand till the last day of the year? Can we boldly say, with all my heart, body, mind and soul pleased God in everything he wanted me to do? This year before picking up a promise card from God’s bag of Blessing just peep into your heart, do I please God.
Here is my promise card for God, through which I would like to please and may be successful in bringing smile on God’s face. You can try them too.

Promise card to LOVE Him genuinely… Duet 6:4
I remember one of my classmates who went of so crazy after a girl he loved that he committed suicide from the Zobra bridge build on river Mahanadi at Cuttack, Orissa. As a freak forgetting everything just jumped for the shake of love. This is the level of commitment dipped into extremism towards the perishable love. Even you might also know many love stories which involve an extremism to demonstrate their love. If this is the level of commitment a person can show for their earthly love, then what should be the standard of love we should show in return to the divine love shown by our Heavenly Father, who graciously gave the greatest gift wrapped up with highest sacrifices.
We think how can I repay God for his love but trust me there are several ways to please God through love. The gospel writer in John 14:15 recorded the words of Jesus himself, “If you Love me, Keep my commandments”. If I really love God; I would push myself to express in action. When an earthly love can “Kill and be killed” than what not for Christ, who shed the last drop of blood for me. It is not the nails that held Christ on the cross but the love for Lost(me).
Saint Paul to Romans urged, in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living scarifies holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship” he goes on to say do not be conformed to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind”. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, his good and pleasing and perfect will. Rom 12:1-2. Here Paul unlocked the way to live, if you say I love God.
St. Mark also writes aptly, “When one of the teachers of law questioned, “Of all commandments which is the most important command” Mark 12:28. When it comes to observe the most important of all commandments, vs29 the most important one,” answered Jesus “Is this: “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God , the Lord is One , vs30 Love the Lord your God with all your Heart and with all your Soul and with all your Mind and with all your Strength.” Here is the command that his people shall, love God, and this is not the deep affectionate love for a personal God but rather an in junction to loyalty. Let’s check, “am I loyal to his love”? Promise saying, I live to love and love to live for God alone, if I die it’s a gain for me. This was the commitment what made Apostle Paul to state with confidence that “for to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” Phil 1:21. Mr. Christian, St. Paul’s life is a real example of a diehard Christian who is in love with God. He lived a life as an example that we may know the demand and benefits of loving God or being in love with God.
If you say you love him check whether you keep his commandments? am I regular to Bible reading and mediation many times we start well in the early days of our promise to God that I will delight in your word, I will mediate it daily but slowly its not because you are busy in work but of your Luke warm love which keeps you away from your 1st love. Let’s prioritize Loving God back to the deepest desire of our heart. Dearly beloved friend let your priorities be right, so that you may boldly say at the end of the year that, “I fulfilled my promise to God” and surely the Holy Spirit will help us, John 14:16-20. Jesus continues saying “he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John14: 21. Hallelujah, this statement is only valid for those who love him and keep his commandments. It’s time to check where are we!
If you are in perfect love with him, be assured “that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:38, 39. If not then let this be printed on the promise card to Godhead.

My Promise card to Trust God…
My Traveler’s guide (Contemporary English Version Bible) puts it in this way “it was their faith that made our ancestors please God.
Faith is the other side of the promise card without it our Christian life is incomplete. The writer of Hebrew pens down “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…” Heb11:6. Many times when we are questioned, what faith is? We answer with a confidence that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Heb 11:1, but understanding of its use when times of crisis in life makes the answer complete.
Hebrews 11 Faith chapter notes 27 times the use of word “by Faith” and 18 times faithful servants. I think the writer wanted to explain the importance of Faith and then he goes on to some how bring the whole chapter in a single verse that is without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb 11:6. Everyone along with their weakness tried to do the best to please God with their unshakable faith. They all were success stories you read but the success came only when the colors of faith was put on the board of action. Yes! Generally, we are so good in singing loud that even we take faith as a song to sing and forget but what bible teaches is faith not in words but faith in action. Heroes of Faith in Bible made an ordinary move with faith and God made the move, a movement of motivation and inspiration to learn. Are you ready to add action to your daily faith?

It was not easy for them but they trusted on God who is greater than every test and difficulties. They knew the One who is inside them, is greater than the one who is outside. Operating faith becomes easy for those who trust God with all of their heart, mind, body and soul. Let nothing come in between you and God, and let no doubt ask you, can you do it? Can you sustain? Can you overcome? Every time Satan puts a doubt, don’t scratch your head; just say yes, I can do all things through him who loves me Rom 8:31, 37. Tap on your heart and say all is under control by Him to whom I entrusted my life with. Check your heart for this faith that increases every moment you walk nearer and nearer the Lord you Trust fully.
All sorts of problems in life are under his control just trust him; he will not let you down. This is the reason why bold buddies with brave heart screwed up the mouth of the king with a powerful statement saying “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, o king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, o king that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up”. The statement is a brave declaration of Love wrapped with complete Faith. Dan 3:16-18, when commanded to fall down and worship the image in V15. I would like to quote a young man who quoted one of my favorite verse in Bible, 12 were sent to explore Canaan the promised land, after seeing the giant size people only one young man Caleb dared to say this” we should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” Wow! were did this confidence come into Caleb’s heart that he could say so in front of all who felt it impossible to invade the promised land, yes, the confidence in God, he learnt that “when God is with us Who can be against us”. The right faith can even move mountains. I suppose he meditated on what God has been doing in the past, the meditation was put into application and you know what followed the incident.

Promise God that this coming year let come what may, no turning back. Don’t forget Peter was walking on the water till his faith was over shaded with the fear of storm. Stand firm to your faith to reach Christ in all circumstance and he will stretch his hand to hold you surely before you drown and never forget that he can with his words are able to stop all that raises against you.
Rejoices that in all situations for He is always there to uphold us and carry us in His arms in places were walking becomes difficult. Men who walks with God in faith, has nothing to do with superstition and traditions, let Faith produces obedience and righteousness which helps to strengthen our promise, for “Just shall live by Faith “Rom 1:5, 17.
May the Lord help us to search our hearts with sincerity to deepen the level of Love and increase the intensity of Trust on God. We have been operating through these passing years and let’s make a vow to God that here I am Lord to completely be lost in Loving you and Trusting you.
Now the promise card printed and painted with love and trust is ready for Godhead, and let’s put all our efforts to stand firm with the promise made for 365 days and for the years to come. Remember before you pick a promise from God put your promise card in lift of Prayer that He may take a glimpse and may the card bring smile on His face.

Success in your POCKET

Long ago there was a Warrier who conquered the then world before he died. He requested to let his hands out of the coffin box while being carried to his grave so that world may know that the one who won a victory over the world had nothing to take with him when he died. He is none other than Alexander the Great! In spite of the being successful throughout his life, Alexander had nothing to take with him. Even the king of Pop Michael Jackson finished off his Race with Debts on his head. He had a good take off but a crash landing. What good it is, to have such success which gives no satisfaction and no peace. Today the “I” Gen youth are really striving hard to win their dreams amidst a highly competitive world. The competition begins right from the day you start breathing.God’s blessed mankind to form many nations, and people of all lands. In contempt of the divine will men trusting his capacity, and knowledge tried to make their name great by building a Tower whose top may reach Heaven, but God scattered them throughout the face of the earth (Gen11:1- 9). This taught me a great lesson of life that is unless God purposes you to be great or successful none can make you successful not your skills or your talents or your sources, nor your capacity or your capability. And when God himself purpose you to be a successful one on earth or Sea or sea beneath can stand against your success, “for when God is with you who can stand against you” and “no one can write his success story without God; who controls the Present and has predestined the future”.God promised Abraham, “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing” (Gen 12:2). Abraham was a rich man when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance (left everything), obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going (Gen11:8). Later on, God prospered Abraham so much that even the king Abimelech with Phichol the chief captain out of fear of being dealt falsely(in Future) made a treaty with him (Gen 21:22, 23). And also testified of his success saying “God is with you in everything you do…” (Gen 21:22, 24:1). Abraham’s blessing was not just limited to him alone but was passed on to his generations. And God lifted him to the heights of Success that today the world knows Abraham as the Founder of Hebrew Nation and Father of all believers and not just this, Abraham is also honoured among the Muslim community too. Now this is what I call SUCCESS!Though Joseph’s brothers sold him to abound salve, God purposed Joseph to be seated on the highest position. God placed him to be the president in a foreign nation. Things seems to be impossible to Men are Possible with God. Not his brothers or the officials could stop God from raising Joseph from the deep pit to high seat, deep down to High Crown.“There are many such success stories in the Bible waiting to come true even today in the lives of those who dare to trust and travel with God the journey of Life”. The secret of their (The Bible Heroes) success was this that they never seek success rather they strived hard to stick to the Saviour, the only source of Success. One of my favourite Young champ who was found fitting in the sight of God to replace Moses was Joshua, he who had both Success and Prosperity in his pocket. Yes, God have a very simple funda or Formula for you to achieve success; “v8- Do not let the book of the law (Bible) depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Josh 1:1-8; Ps 128:1, 2). Even the psalmist put the same formula in his very first song “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night…WHATEVER he does prospers” (Ps 1:1-3). {Sad to say, that today we are simply seeking the success rather the source of Success. We have become just like pagans who seek creation rather the Creator to worship. Not just the children but also the parents are more interested in making their children successful rather letting God to do so. If parents would have shown equally concern to nurture in a godly way and to send Children to the Church and Fellowships as they do in sending to school, college tuition than we would have not been praying for the Christian Youth involved in the addiction of Drugs, Premarital Sex, Live-in Relationship, Homosexuality, Divorce, etc. I don’t say that we should not be the concern of children success rather I would like to stress on the point of Compromise we do with God and his standards. A really pathetic condition, hence nation is not able to witness fully the potential and power of being a Christ-follower (Christians)}.Ref:- Pro 1:5; 3:7; Eph 6:7.God is not interested in blessing you with temporary success which perishes in this temporary world itself but is interested in blessing you eternally. God intends and is interested in your (his chosen generation) prosperity and success (Jer 29:11); he promises that I will make you head not the tail but only thing we ought to do is to be faithful in fulfilling the objective of God-given (success formula) (Josh 1:8).  Paul says “we are more than conqueror through him who loves us… (Rom 8:28), I can do all things through Him who strengthens me (Phil 4:13). The success from God is always wrapped up with loads of Satisfaction and of course with Peace that surpasses all human understanding.Let us not just run rather Run to Win (1cor 9:24b)! Hail Jehovah Nisshi!

Message to the missionaries of Christ from the Missionary on Cross.

How fascinating to talk about mission and missionary work, certainly for me it has been a topic of high interest. This article is especially for all those who are actively involved in ministry or to people who are committed to serving the Lord in whatever way possible (Matthew 9:37-38).

The seven sayings on Cross that flow right out of the mouth of the greatest missionary who ever walked on the face of this earth. Missionary Son Jesus sent by the Missionary Father to save the world. We are looking at these seven saying of the Saviour who is on the cross to grapple some life-changing lessons to learn. These words carry a strong pattern of lifestyle for every active Christian missionary.

Calling all those who are called and commissioned with the great commission Mt.28:18-20. Let’s us look into the seven sayings of the Saviour on the cross and derive seven lessons and obligate ourselves not just to be the hearers of the word but to be doers of the word James 1:22.

First Principle: “RELEASE” TO BE RELEASED.

Luke 23: 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

Whosoever it may be, forgiving is much difficult than to take revenge. Paul Lewis Boese says, “Forgiveness does not change the past but it does enlarge the future.” Lewis B. Smedes the ethicist and theologian framed his thought, “to forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner (released) is you.” Past in a way can be altered but holding on to the mistakes of the past will surely spoil our present as well as future. To be released and to get rid of the guilty feeling is only possible when we release (forgive) and move on. Unforgiving heart grows root of bitterness, hatred, jealous, envy and so on. We must not forget that our life as a believer began with the strong conviction of assurance of being forgiven (1John1:9; Eph 4:32). The very prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, was to forgive to be forgiven (Mt. 6:12, 14-15; Luke 6:37, 17:4; 2Cor. 2:5-8,10). Imagine if we are not forgiven then how would be our life. Apostle Paul has made this wonderful appeal made to Philemon (Philemon verses12-16) to forgive and accept Onesimus as a fellow worker in Christ. Let’s not serve the Lord without the Lord being involved in. “Only when we forgive, we are forgiven” and only forgiven can testify the God who alone holds the power and authority to forgive sins and release us from the bondage of sin.

Second Principle: “REWARD” RESERVED FOR ALL.

Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Everyone likes to be rewarded and the Bible speaks of various crowns and rewards. Apostle Paul calls his church to the hope of the crown that we will have at the coming of Christ Jesus (1 Thess. 2:19). Apostle Peter also speaks of a crown that will never fade away (1 Peter 5:4). Reward reserved for one of the two criminals; v42 requests Jesus to remember him when Jesus comes into His kingdom. Jesus’ reply to him is nothing less than a reward assured. The criminal is blessed with this assurance of him being with Christ. All those who acknowledge that Christ alone is the messiah gets this assurance of living life in the presence and providence of God. All those who are called to serve him with loyalty; inheritance of His presence and providence is assured reward. While serving the Lord we may come across various crossroads. Every time, we give up what we feel right, to choose what is right in the sight of God; God’s presence is assured. While on earth we must not forget that one of the most beautiful gifts is freedom of choice. Every choice we make decides the destiny. The God promises us life in abundance (John 10:10). He has placed death and life in front of us to make a choice and based on the choice we have the reward of His precious presence. The criminal made his choice; now a lesson for us to learn that while we serve God, let God be on the top of our priority list. Even Paul made his choice to press on and acknowledges that a certain amount of strict training to win the crown (1 Cor. 9:25). Every right choice we make pushes us closer and closer to God. Let’s continue to hold on to Christ for the assured reward of His presence and providence as long as we are in this world and beyond.

Third Principle: “RESPONSIBLE” TO RESPONSIBILITIES.

John 19:26-27 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

Here again, a wonderful lesson to learn from Jesus, when Jesus is going back to His Heavenly Father, He simply did not forget the responsibilities that he was counted responsible. He has every good reason to just focus on what He was on the way to accomplish. Rather calls upon His beloved disciple and hand over His mother responsibly. We may be successful in getting responsibilities but not many are good at fulfilling the responsibilities given. Jesus was mindful of the responsibility on him even at the cross. The time of mixed feelings, the pain He physically was going through and the most awaited time of happiness, the time of the inauguration of His kingdom is at hand. No doubt often we want the power but never ready to fulfil the responsibility. We at several occasions act irresponsibly while we are counted responsible of. Let us not take things for granted but Apostle Paul calls all to test their own actions (Gal. 6:4). Anything and everything that we are counted responsible for is not from any human being but is from God. He wants us to be accountable for every small responsibility given. Just got reminded of young David when asked to visit his brother, he hands over the flocks in the care of a shepherd and went ahead (1 Sam 17:17-20). How responsible we behave while serving the Sovereign Lord. As we serve the Lord, let’s be someone on whom God can count upon. Let’s be responsible servant of the supreme God.

Forth Principle: REALLY “REJECTED?”

Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). & Mark 15:34

Very first thought that popped up while articulating this was, why would the Father forsake His only Son! Well said by Jacob Cherian, a New Testament Scholar, in his recent article DID GOD THE FATHER FORSAKE JESUS ON THE CROSS?, “Wholly submitted to his Father’s will in Gethsemane, Jesus was perfectly assured of his Father’s presence on Golgotha!”[1] Probably this is when Jesus needed His Father to be with Him more than anyone else. This is not what our Heavenly Father promised; His promise is, “not to leave nor to forsake us” (Deut. 31:6, Heb. 13:5). Yes, often we feel like crying out aloud to God and complain why he left us all alone to fight our toughest battles. The truth may not be the way we are looking at the situation and condition. Think of occasions when God was right there but we miserably misunderstood of abandoning in the times of storms (Matt. 8:23-25; Mark 4:35,38; Luke 8:22-25). Someone rightly said, “only tough storms make real sailor.” While serving the Lord there will be times when we may feel that God has left us all alone to fight the battle. We may fail to realize this fact and question God why He left us but the fact is He never leaves us alone. Apostle Paul writing to Timothy wrote, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself” (2 Tim. 2:13; 2 Thess. 3:3). While we go through hard times it is only to make us stronger and to shape us. It is very rightly said by Bruce Milne that “Jesus knew that amid of the unimaginable horror of the physical and mental torture, Jesus retains control. He is conscious that this agony is fulfilling the Father’s plan and bringing it to triumphant conclusion.” Let’s never give space to negative thoughts to overtake and convince us that we are alone at any point of life. Let’s not give up! God never left Jesus alone at cross and nor will He leave us alone at any crossroad. God who never left Adam, who despite of rebellious attitude of Israelites never stopped leading them into the promise land, who loves the world so much so that He gave His Son to die, will He reject you? Let no crisis or failure push us to feel abandoned by God, be still and know that God is just at the reach of one call. When we feel alone ask yourself this question, was Jesus really “rejected”?

Fifth Principle: “READY” TO RAFT THROUGH PAIN.

John 19:28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.

I thirst is a clear evidence of how human Jesus was! It is normal for anyone who have been through all the days trial to thirst. At the natural level a wholly comprehensible cry in view of the dehydration which was a prominent feature in the torture of crucifixion. Without shadowing down the evidence of the fulfillment of the prophecy in Ps. 69: 3, 21. Either way, John wants to make his readers understand that every part of Jesus’ passion was not only in the Father’s plan of redemption but a consequence of the Son’s direct obedience to it. He is on cross thirsting can be also applied to the level of readiness to obey His Father beyond the pain. Are we ready to do what is entrusted to us? This is a reminder for all those called and all those who are committed to serve the Lord as the one who is sent forth to witness. The very truth Jesus was sent into the world was to die for the world. The moment He surrendered His will to fulfill the will of His Father, He knew that His obedience will cost His life. Lesson to learn from the thirst of Jesus on Cross can be understood as being ready to endure pain for the sake of fulling the will of Him who has called us with a high and prestigious calling. Pain should never be a reason to stay away from serving the purpose of life. Jesus learned obedience through suffering, but he was never hesitant to suffer for obedience. Forget not that, times of pain shapes a better person out of us. Apostle Paul regarding who God said he will show him how much he has to suffer for Christ’s name sake (Acts 9:16). Paul also states that it is a pleasure to suffer for His sake (Phil. 1:29), goes even further to say that, “for Christ’s sake, I delight in his weaknesses, his insult, in hardships, in persecution, in difficulties (2 Cor. 12:10). If going through tough times and difficulties, experiencing pain, it is a confirmation of we being at right place and are alive. Anything that is alive, has growth and when growth happens, happens pain as a process and proof of growth. Times we go from pain, we will have peace when it is from God. Lesson to hold to without trying to escape through pain rather be “ready” to raft through pain.

Sixth Principle: “RUNNING” TOWARDS THE GOAL.

John 19:30, When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

A shout of accomplishment or completion of a given task. “His response to Father’s will, revealing of the Father’s heart and His redeeming of Father’s world was completed” (Bruce Milne, BST). As an active Christian, Apostle Paul calls us not to siege. Never to quit running the good race, ran in such a way as to get the prize, with eyes set on the goal (Phil. 3:13-16; 1 Cor. 9:24, Gal 5:7). The front-liners, serving in the Lord’s vineyard can we say with the same conviction that what we are called to do, have successful done without any selfish means and self-centeredness. There are many who claim to be serve the Lord. The question that raises is are we working for the pleasure of the Master who called us or to please the people who pays us. While working for the Lord, can we confidently say that I have completed what I am called for. It is waste of God’s time and money to work without any goal. Paul says he don’t run aimlessly (1 Cor. 9:26). It is sin to work without any vision, one must catch a vision before catching a mission. Missionary without a Vision is nothing less than machinery and no more a missionary. The lesson to all who desires to serve the Lord is to set goals and envision the end before starting anything. Shahrukh Khan, Bollywood actor, well said in 2010, India Today Magazine, “All that we do in the name of God, doesn’t necessarily is the will of God. Unless we know why are we working for will never be able to say that “it is finished.” Lesson to learn is to first set the goals right then start running towards the goal.

Seventh Principle: “REMARKABLE RELATIONSHIP” WITH THE FATHER

Luke 23:46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

So simple and clear are the words from the Saviour’s mouth. Jesus committing His soul into the hands of His Father, how wonderful it is to see himself get into the bosom of His Father (John 1:18) right after fulfilling the purpose on earth. Jesus’ life is a witness to how intriguingly He is related to His Father. He speaks nothing else but only what He hears from His Father (John12:49) He does nothing on His own but only what He sees His Father doing (John 5:19), He does not initiate anything but speak what Father has taught Him (John 8:28) He never places His will over His Father’s will (Luke 22:42), the very reason of Jesus walked out of His comfort zone knowing that his obedience will cost nothing less than his life. His Obedience to His Father is nothing but a reflection of the intimate relationship between Father and Son. Friends this may be the last words on the cross but is not the least in terms of the lesson we learn. This extreme level of submission is a clear depiction of Jesus dependency on His Father. Our ministry should be an outcome of a remarkable relationship. Never hesitating to obey and always depending on God with the belief that He is always in control. As Jesus never missed an opportunity to have His “me time” with God so be our interest also (Luke 5:16; Matthew 14:13-36; 15, 16, 17:1-20). Apostle Paul after doing a remarkable ministry expressed to the church in Philippi that he still strongly longs, “to know Christ more.” Yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in His sufferings, like in His death.” (Phil. 3:10; Rom. 8:35-39; Phil. 1:23). As Jesus lived a life so much so that He could boldly say that whoever has seen me have seen my Father who sent me. Let’s grow in confidence enough to say the same. When people come in contact with us, they may testify that they have comprehended pop the true image of Jesus in and through us. Lesson to learn is one of the most essential ones long for a deeper and deeper, closer and closer relationship with God without compromising at any point of life. Remark of our ministry depends on our remarkable Relationship with God, just as Jesus has.

Well if we are struggling in any of these above mentioned, then no need to panic. This message is coming to you and me as a reminder to set the thing back in place. Oh! wait a minute if you after reading everything feels that this is not for you then know who is a missionary. Who is a Missionary? Any individual saved in Christ, is a missionary witnessing Christ in and through his words and his works for the Saviour who laid down His life. N.T. Wright, well Said, “Remember your calling to bring God’s light into the world.”

Let’s start implementing these lessons learnt in our day to day life so make our forerunner Jesus feels proud of us. Blessings! Wish you a very meaningful Good Friday.

WANTED, Passionate Youth to further the passion of Christ.

Apply Now! Open for all! Yes, God’s kingdom work is flourishing. King wants more of kingdom worker. Of course, we can fill in! God has been using youth for advancement of His plans on earth.

Passionate young Jesus played a very important role (John 5:17). He defeated Satan on the cross and resurrected to defeat death (1 Cor. 15:4; Hosea 6:1-2). What He achieved at cross depicts Son’s trust on the Father that held Him to the purpose of His life on earth. Though it wasn’t easy for Him (Luke 22:42), He still continued to believe that the Father is in control of His life. The only qualification obligatory is fearless faith. Someone rightly said that, “God does not call the qualified but qualifies the called” (1 Cor.1:27).

Love fuels the desire to serve God and faith in obedience fearlessly follows Jesus. Faith is the strong confidence in God that He will never leave us alone in the wildest storms of life(Dan 3:16-18). “It was their faith that made our ancestors please God” Hebrews 11:1(CEV) “Obedience is the personification of Faith.” “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Heb 11:1. Certainly, the writer of Hebrews amplifies on the magnitude of Faith and manages to summarize the whole chapter in a single verse, “Without faith it is impossible to please God” Hebrews 11:6. The stories of young heroes, sound extraordinary only because the color of faith which is painted on the board of action (James 2:16-18, 20, 26; 1 Thess. 1:3). We cannot deny the fact that all young heroes of faith had weaknesses. But still they choose to surrender their will and submit their weakness at the feet of God.

It is an absolute honor to be working along with God, “Man cannot do anything without God and God will not do anything without Man (Human).” Throughout Bible we can see teamwork between God and the young heroes of faith. History teaches that anointing is always followed by witnessing. There is no unction that keeps us out of action for a longer time, words must be converted into works. History also witness of many youths who made an ordinary move by faith and it is God who made the move a movement to motivate millions. They lived and they are gone and now it’s our chance to live life worthy of His love and sacrifice.

Can I do it? Can I sustain? Can I overcome? Am I called and qualified? Am I talented enough? I don’t know the Bible cover to cover? Let’s not doubt that, every time Satan puts such doubts, don’t scratch your head; just as “Caleb calmed down the crowd” let us also say that, “I know I can do it!” Numbers 13:30. It was doubt that drowned Peter (Mt.14:29,31). Even young Eve was trapped in one such question (Gen 2:18, Gen 3:1) that created a vacuum for doubt and she had disbelieved on God for whom it is impossible to lie (Heb 6:8). Doubt drifted this young couple away from the purpose of life and presence of God (Gen 3:8). Often backsliding starts with doubt which leads to disobedience. Faith cannot co-exist with doubt, doubt breeds underneath our lukewarm Christian lifestyle. When He saves us, His promise is to sustain us and He will prosper us whatsoever conditions we are in (1 Thess. 5:24). The reason why bold buddies (Youth) with brave heart bolted up the mouth of the king with a powerful declaration was their faith on God, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, o king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, o king that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up” Dan 3:16-18, is because they were full of zeal to serve God at any cost. Their faith generated passion that resulted in extraordinary achievements. Heidi Baker says, “If ministry is not about compassion and passion, let it die.” Wow! Wherefrom did the confidence come in young Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego, it is the zeal to serve God.

Friends the challenge we have is the gap between the desire to serve God and actually serving the Lord. Whenever we hear the call for ministry, we have our personal insecurities and fears standing tall challenging our commitment. Billy Graham (Evangelist) once said, “My home is in heaven. I am just travelling through this world.” He was greatly used by God because he chose to express his love for God in action and not in acting. Book of ACTS full of Active Christians Terrifying Satan. Tragedy is God took no time to decide to pay the highest price to express His love and we lack no excuses in saying that I need time to think, I am not ready, I am not sure if God wants me to serve Him. Nothing else go through so much of analysis and calculation as much as a decision of serving God. Yes, one thing that we are on top, that is singing aloud for Him saying, “He is my everything.”

Even after enjoying God’s goodness and grace we still need Him to speak out to us individually that He needs us (Mt 9:37; Luke 10:2; Is 58:6-7; Mk 16:15; 1 Cor.7:17; Phil 2:1-4, 3:12-14; Heb 3:1, 12:1-2; 1 Pet. 2:9-10, 3:15-16, 4:10-11). Many youth who chose to serve God, lacked money, they too had parent to be taken care of, some were in a comfortable place, some had high reputation in the society, some had high profile job, they too had their beloveds and friends just as we do but when God wanted them they just left everything and followed Him without compromising. Those who counted it a great privilege to serve God are today known for what they achieved for God through faith in Christ. While we take care of what is concerning to God, He assures us to take care of everything that concerns us. Friends, “The will of God will not take us where the grace of God cannot sustain us,” Evg. Billy Graham. The good news is there is a vacancy and we can apply right now. God is calling “Passionate Youth to continue the Passion of Christ among the perishing souls.” This is why all power and authority is given unto us (Mt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).

The truth shall never change that “Just shall live by Faith” Romans 1:5, 17, and shall lack nothing. Are you ready to take this leap of faith and join Jesus in the journey of your life? He who began something in and through us will bring to completion (1 Thess. 5:24). David Livingstone once said, “If a commission by an earthly king is considered honor, how can a commission by a Heavenly King be considered a sacrifice?” Let’s ask ourselves, “Am I saved to SERVE or just to SURVIVE!”
