Long ago there was a Warrier who conquered the then world before he died. He requested to let his hands out of the coffin box while being carried to his grave so that world may know that the one who won a victory over the world had nothing to take with him when he died. He is none other than Alexander the Great!In spite of the being successful throughout his life, Alexander had nothing to take with him. Even the king of Pop Michael Jackson finished off his Race with Debts on his head. He had a good take off but a crash landing. What good it is, to have such success which gives no satisfaction and no peace. Today the “I” Gen youth are really striving hard to win their dreams amidst a highly competitive world. The competition begins right from the day you start breathing.God’s blessed mankind to form many nations, and people of all lands. In contempt of the divine will men trusting his capacity, and knowledge tried to make their name great by building a Tower whose top may reach Heaven, but God scattered them throughout the face of the earth (Gen11:1- 9). This taught me a great lesson of life that is unless God purposes you to be great or successful none can make you successful not your skills or your talents or your sources, nor your capacity or your capability. And when God himself purpose you to be a successful one on earth or Sea or sea beneath can stand against your success, “for when God is with you who can stand against you” and “no one can write his success story without God; who controls the Present and has predestined the future”.God promised Abraham, “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing” (Gen 12:2). Abraham was a rich man when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance (left everything), obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going (Gen11:8). Later on, God prospered Abraham so much that even the king Abimelech with Phichol the chief captain out of fear of being dealt falsely(in Future) made a treaty with him (Gen 21:22, 23). And also testified of his success saying “God is with you in everything you do…” (Gen 21:22, 24:1). Abraham’s blessing was not just limited to him alone but was passed on to his generations. And God lifted him to the heights of Success that today the world knows Abraham as the Founder of Hebrew Nation and Father of all believers and not just this, Abraham is also honoured among the Muslim community too. Now this is what I call SUCCESS!Though Joseph’s brothers sold him to abound salve, God purposed Joseph to be seated on the highest position. God placed him to be the president in a foreign nation. Things seems to be impossible to Men are Possible with God. Not his brothers or the officials could stop God from raising Joseph from the deep pit to high seat, deep down to High Crown.“There are many such success stories in the Bible waiting to come true even today in the lives of those who dare to trust and travel with God the journey of Life”. The secret of their (The Bible Heroes) success was this that they never seek success rather they strived hard to stick to the Saviour, the only source of Success. One of my favourite Young champ who was found fitting in the sight of God to replace Moses was Joshua, he who had both Success and Prosperity in his pocket. Yes, God have a very simple funda or Formula for you to achieve success; “v8- Do not let the book of the law (Bible) depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Josh 1:1-8; Ps 128:1, 2). Even the psalmist put the same formula in his very first song “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night…WHATEVER he does prospers” (Ps 1:1-3). {Sad to say, that today we are simply seeking the success rather the source of Success. We have become just like pagans who seek creation rather the Creator to worship. Not just the children but also the parents are more interested in making their children successful rather letting God to do so. If parents would have shown equally concern to nurture in a godly way and to send Children to the Church and Fellowships as they do in sending to school, college tuition than we would have not been praying for the Christian Youth involved in the addiction of Drugs, Premarital Sex, Live-in Relationship, Homosexuality, Divorce, etc. I don’t say that we should not be the concern of children success rather I would like to stress on the point of Compromise we do with God and his standards. A really pathetic condition, hence nation is not able to witness fully the potential and power of being a Christ-follower (Christians)}.Ref:- Pro 1:5; 3:7; Eph 6:7.God is not interested in blessing you with temporary success which perishes in this temporary world itself but is interested in blessing you eternally. God intends and is interested in your (his chosen generation) prosperity and success (Jer 29:11); he promises that I will make you head not the tail but only thing we ought to do is to be faithful in fulfilling the objective of God-given (success formula) (Josh 1:8). Paul says “we are more than conqueror through him who loves us… (Rom 8:28), I can do all things through Him who strengthens me (Phil 4:13). The success from God is always wrapped up with loads of Satisfaction and of course with Peace that surpasses all human understanding.Let us not just run rather Run to Win (1cor 9:24b)!
